3 killed in separate accidents in Telangana

Three persons were today killed in two separate accidents in Warangal district, police said.

Two lorries, coming from opposite direction, collided at Mailaram village. Both the lorry drivers were killed on the spot, an official of Rayaparthy police said.

The deceased were identified as Sk.Mubarak and one Subhan. A cleaner was injured and is being treated at a local hospital, the official said.

In a separate accident, a lorry hit a motorcycle killing a woman police constable, who was riding the two-wheeler, police said.

The mishap took place at the Warangal Under Bridge area and the deceased was identified as Vijaya Laxmi, they added.
