3 killed in two road mishaps in Delhi

Three persons were killed in two road accidents in the national capital, police said today.

Raj Kumar (40) and Bajrang Singh (32) were killed after the motorcycle they were riding hit a barricade erected by the Public Works Department for repairs work at Mukundpur flyover in northwest Delhi last night, they said.

The riders could not see the barricade due to fog. The duo died on the spot, a police officer said.

In another incident, a student died after being run over by a tractor in Najafgarh area last night.

The motorbike which Sumit(17) and two of his friends were riding skid on the road. Sumit was mowed down by a tractor coming from behind, police said.
 

Two of his friends were injured in the incident, a police officer said, adding the tractor driver has been arrested.
