Three persons, including a woman, were killed and more than 24 injured when a truck collided with a bus ferrying devotees early this morning at Chola village here.
The pilgrims were on their way to Goverdhan in Mathura from Haridwar. The incident occurred at Chola village, about 15 km from here, Circle Officer Dharmendra Yadav said.
The bus driver, Mukesh(40), and two passengers, Pappu (24)and Surajmukhi (32), were killed on the spot. Whereas, more than 24 people were admitted to the district hospital here, the CO added.
The victims were from Mainpuri and Ferozabad districts of Uttar Pradesh, police said.
