A three-member team of doctors was today constituted to take remedial measures for controlling hepatitis in Jammu and Kashmir's Warwan area of Kishtwar district, an official spokesperson said.
He said Deputy Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana constituted the team and directed it to submit a detailed report to the directorate of health services for framing a strategic policy to avoid and deal effectively with such epidemics in the future.
The team was constituted three days after Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti expressed concern over reports of prevalence of hepatitis in some areas of Wadwan and directed a team of doctors to visit the affected area.
