Three minor girls have drowned while taking bath in a rivulet in Madarhava Judpaniya village of neighbouring Shrawasti district, police said today.
Beena (12), Reena (13) and Mamta (13) -- who were cousins -- had yesterday gone to graze their cattle in the field under Sirsiya police station area when they decided to take bath in the rivulet and drowned, police said.
The bodies were later fished out by the villagers, police said.
