Three members of a family - a woman, her son and grandson - were electrocuted when they came into contact with a live wire that got snapped near their house on Sunday, police said.
The dead were Oppayi Ammal, Ramamurthy andGunasekaran, the police said.
A case has been registered and investigations have begun, they said.
