3 of UP family killed as car falls into gorge in Rajasthan

Three members of a family from Uttar Pradesh were killed and four others suffered injuries after their car overturned and fell into a gorge when a tyre burst in Rajasthan's Dholpur district, police said on Sunday.

The car occupants were on the way to Kailadevi Mata temple in Rajasthan's Karauli district from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh when the incident took place near Kansoti Kheda bridge on NH-11(B) on Saturday.

Three people were killed and four others were injured, Dholpur SP Mridul Kachawa said.

The car fell into a gorge after overturning, he said.

Dhawal Kumar (45), his mother Pushpa (60), and their relative Pari (12) were killed, police said.

 

The bodies have been kept at a mortuary and the family members were informed about the incident, they said.
