Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered transfers and postings of three officers with the immediate effect.
The Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ordered transfers and postings in civil administration, an official spokesman said.
Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Director Area Planning and Ex-Officio Special Secretary, Planning and Development Department has been transferred and posted as Director Command Area Development, Jammu, relieving Director, Agriculture, Jammu of the additional charge, he said.
Showkat Ahmad Beigh, Special Secretary, Chief Minister's Private Office, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Director, Area Planning and Ex-Officio Special Secretary, Planning and Development department, he added.
Soujanya Kumar Sharma, Director Information, J-K has been transferred and posted as Director Tourism, Jammu, he said, adding that Sharma shall, however, continue to hold the charge of Director Information J-K till further orders.
