Three persons were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck in the Kakrala area here, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the three persons were travelling on the motorcycle, they said.
Superintendent of Police (city) Jitendra Srivastava said, "The deceased have been identified as Morpal (24), and his relatives Anuj (20) and Rita (22)."
While Morpal died on the spot, Rita succumbed to her injuries on the way to Bareilly hospital. Anuj died in the Bareilly district hospital, he said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
