Three Kailash-Mansarovar pilgrims have been stopped from undertaking a 36-km-long Kailash Parikrama as two of them fell ill and one was injured after falling off a horse at a camp in Darchin, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) sources here said today.
"Two of the the 18th batch of pilgrims, Dileep Kumar Desai (59) and his wife Bhawana (58) from Gujarat, have been stopped from undertaking the Kailash Parikrama after they fell ill," an official said.
"Another pilgrim, Rohit Kumar Saini, also returned from Darchin camp as he was injured after falling off a horse," the official said.
"The last batch of the pilgrims will return to Lipulekh pass on September 8. With this, the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra for this year will come to an end," KMVN official said.
