3 policemen injured after canter hits them

Three policemen, including two sub inspectors, were injured when a canter hit them on Yamuna Expressway near Avakhera village in Naujheel area here.

"The police party, including sub inspectors Raj Kumar Giri, in-charge of Mant toll outpost, and Umesh Chandra Solanki, and constable Dinesh Baliyan were hit by the canter Saturday night when they were taking details of a loot incident of an ill-fated bus," police said.

Solanki, who suffered serious injuries was rushed to Agra, while the other two were given treatment at a local hospital, they added.
