Three policemen were injured in a clash today with 'kanwariya' pilgrims at a railway station in Auraiya district, police said.
The pilgrims, devotees of Lord Shiva, were travelling on the Gomti Express when they got into a row with the driver at the Phaphoond railway station over the train's stops and clashes ensued.
A sub-inspector, an RPF and a GRP constable sustained injuries while trying to control the mob and were taken to e hospital for treatment.
Police said that a case has been registered.
