: Three prisoners escaped from a sub jail near Kalayaar kovil in this district late last night, police said
The trio involved in robbery, dacoity and theft cases escaped from the sub jail at Purasadai Udaippu, they said, adding a manhunt has been launched to nab them.
All checkposts had been alerted and their picutres sent to personnel there as also to other police stations, police said.
