An FIR was today registered against three revenue department officials for allegedly submitting fake educational certificates while applying for their jobs.
The report was registered after a complaint was received by District Magistrate M K Swami B alleging that the three 'Lekhpals'--Nandji Ram, Sitaram Verma and Ramshankar Singh, who were working with revenue department had provided fake educational certificates for their jobs.
The allegations were found to be prima facie true in the initial investigation, a police spokesman said.
The FIR was registered at Bansdeeh police station, police spokesman said, adding that a probe is on in the matter.
