"Ram Kumar alias Monu, Arjun and Rakesh were arrested from Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district yesterday and Rs 4.77 lakh cash and Rs 15 lakh worth jewellery have been recovered from their possession," North West ACP Romil Baaniya said.
According to police, Ashok Vihar resident Manju Jain had filed a complaint that on June 25 two youths barged into her house, tied her with a bed sheet with the help of domestic help Rahul, who was employed three days ago, and mercilessly beat her. They then looted cash and jewellery worth Rs 35 lakh.
Search is on to nab Rahul, whose police verification was not done by Jain.
