3 robbers arrested in Alwar

Police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of robbers with the arrest of three persons from Alwar and recovery of stolen bike, sarees, sewing machine, 15 mobile handsets and laptop from them.

According to a Police Headquarters' release here, the accused were identified as Islam alias Titu, Aslam, and Ramgopal.

A sewing machine, packets of sarees, salwar-kameej suits, cooler which they had stolen from a sari centre, and a bike, 15 mobile handsets and one laptop were recovered from them, police said.

The accused were wanted in at least a dozen cases of theft and loot in Alwar district and Bhiwadi and Dharuhera (Haryana), they said.
 

Besides, one Zubena, sister of Islam, was also arrested yesterday for allegedly selling the stolen goods in Alwar city, police said.
