Faridabad police today arrested three persons who robbed commuters on isolated road stretches.
Acting on a tip-off, ASI Jamil of the crime branch raided the place near Etmadpur village near Agra Canal where the three were found conspiring to rob people.
The arrested were identified as Maksood, Sirazuddin and Jaipal, all residents of Bismara village in Mathura district.

A case has been registered with Sector 31 police station under relevant sections the IPC and the Arms Act.

In a similar case, a tip-off was received at Seekri police post here that one Pyarelal, a resident of Mohalla village, is carrying a country-made pistol without any license and was passing through National Highway 2.
The police arrested Pyarelal and recovered the country made pistol of .32 bore which he was carrying illegally.
A case has been registered at Ballabgarh Sadar police station under the Arms Act.
