3 sisters missing in UP

Three sisters, aged between 14 and 18, have gone missing from Kotwali area of Mainpuri district, police said today.

According to a complaint registered by their grandfather Becha Lal Mishra, the girls -- Richa (18), Pooja (16) and Siva (14) -- had left the house with their belongings in a bag on May 30 and have been missing since then, they said.

Mihra, a resident of Sadgurukunj locality, has expressed apprehension that the girls might have been kidnapped.

A case has been lodged and the matter is being investigated, police said.
