Three Pakistani soldiers were killed when militants fired rockets targeting security forces in the restive North Waziristan tribal region, officials said today.
Militants targeted Spinwarm Fort in the area where army has launched Operation Zarb-i-Azb against local and foreign militants.
A security official said that several rockets were fired on the fort resulting in death of three soldiers.

The operation was launched on June 15 following a brazen militant attack on Karachi's international airport.
Army says it has killed over 950 militants since then but the threat of militancy is still far from over.
