Fearing that they had failed in their class X exams, three teenagers had run away from their homes in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir four days ago, but police found two of them in Rajasthan today.

Sukesh Choudhari (14), Vikash Salathia (14) and Sunil Singh (15) left their homes in Thalodi village on Saturday and did not return, causing their worried parents to lodge missing persons report, SHO Mohmmad Iqbal told PTI.

A police team launched a search and found Vikas and Sukesh in Rajasthan, Iqbal said, adding that Sunil was also with them and will be found soon.

The boys will be handed over to their parents, he said.

"All of them have appeared in class X exams. They had not performed well in examinations and were afraid of failing, so they made a plan to run away to Mumbai to work there," the SHO said.

The trio took a bus to Jammu and from there a train to Delhi and finally reached Rajasthan, where they were found enjoying new places, he said.
