3 trainee constables arrested for using proxies in exam

Special task force of police today arrested three trainee constables from Morena district for allegedly using proxies to write the police constable recruitment examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB).

Kedarnath Tyagi, Devesh Tyagi and Dhiraj Doneria were arrested by the STF today, it said in a statement here.

They had somebody else writing the MPPEB exam conducted on September 30, 2012, it said.

The case has been registered against them and also their parents (who paid the proxy writers) for cheating, criminal conspiracy and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and also sections of Madhya Pradesh Recognised Examination Act.
 

The trio were undergoing training at Police Training School (PTS) in Indore.
