Three women were injured in a clash between the agitating labourers and police here today.
The clash took place when the police tried to disperse the agitating labourers near the office of Deputy Commissioner, police said.
The injured women have been admitted to the local general hospital for treatment.

The labourers alleged that the police resorted to lathi charge while they were holding a peaceful demonstration.
However, the police denied the allegations.
The injured women have demanded action against those who had beaten them.
Earlier, the labourers took out a procession to press for the acceptance of their demands, including payment of pending wages and unemployment allowance.
They also raised anti-government slogans.
Labourers affiliated to Centre of Trade Union, All India Kisan Sabha, Akhil Bharatiya Khet Mazdoor Union and Janwadi Mahila Samiti took part in the procession.
