Three persons were arrested in connection with a daylight robbery case in a busy south Delhi locality, police said today.

The three accused, identified as Kabir (24), Wasim (20), Arif Saifi (19), received prior information that Dilpreet Singh, a salesman from a mobile store in Gafar Market was to carry five I-phones and Rs 2.08 lakhs in cash, they said.

Following which they hatched a plan to rob Singh at a bus stop near Hauz Khas. The motorcycle borne trio attacked the salesman and robbed him, the police added.

"During interrogation, Kabir named his accomplices and also said that the information regarding the salesman was passed on to them by a juvenile," said B S Jaiswal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South District.

The DCP said that further investigation is on and involvement of the accused in any other case is also being probed.
