Three persons died and as many were injured after a speeding truck hit them in Chittorgarh district's Nimbahera area in Rajasthan, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when Vikas Gaur, Ramesh Dhakad and Rahul Tank, members of RSS-affiliated student wing ABVP, were putting up posters related to the students' union polls on the roadside, they said.
The speeding vehicle crushed the trio killing them instantly while three of their friends were seriously injured of which two were being treated at Udaipur district hospital and one was admitted to the Chittorgarh hospital, police said.
The police have seized the truck and arrested its driver.
