The incident took place at Jehangirabad town, about 24 km from here. While two died on the spot, the third succumbed to injuries in a hospital, they said, adding that the condition of the fourth youth is critical.
Agitated over the incident, locals clashed with a police team, which had rushed to the spot, and pelted stones at them. Five police personnel were seriously injured in the clash, SSP Gulab Singh said.
The mob also set two police motorcycles on fire, he said.
The locals demanded speed breakers at the site of accident and restoration of the police post which existed there earlier, Singh said.
