A three-year-old girl was
allegedly raped by her neighbour in Tikait Nagar area of the district, police said today.
Sanjay (40) took the girl, who was playing outside her home, to a nearby abandoned building, raped her and absconded from there after locking the girl inside a room last evening, they said.
The locals, on hearing the girl's cries, rushed to the spot and informed police.
Police have arrested the accused and registered a case against him under relevant provisions of law.
