30 bombs recovered from Murshidabad district in WB

Thirty live bombs were recovered by security forces today from a field at Sekendra in Mushidabad district of West Bengal where Assembly polls are due next month.

The bombs were kept in two containers in the field and a joint team of central force, which has come to the state for the elections, and district police recovered them this morning, a police officer said.

The bombs were later defused, he said.
