Thirty cartons of smuggled liquor were seized by the district excise team today from Nangli Nangl village area here.
"An Eeco car was intercepted on the directions of district excise officer Ram Ujagir Maurya, following which 30 cartons of smuggled country liquor were seized from it," Excise Inspector Vishnu Pratap Singh said.
The driver fled from the spot, he said.
An FIR in this regard has been lodged at sector 135 Expressway police station, he added.
