A 30-year-old man was shot dead by three motorcycle-borne assailants following a personal rivalry here, police said today.
Three motorcycle-borne youths fired four rounds at Akash Jaiswal near Neblate crossing under Kotwali police station area here last night, police said.
He was rushed to the district hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead, police said, adding, rivalry over recent auction of 'cannabis contract' was stated to be cause behind the crime.
