As many as 31 candidates today filed papers on the first day of nomination for the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) election slated to be held on February 21.
For 31 wards in the city there are 122 seats (each ward having four seats A, B, C, D), NMC's election wing has started accepting nomination papers online from the candidates.
Two wards are having only three seats each, hence total number of seats works out at 122, said the officials from election wing.
