The 33d edition of the Pune International Marathon will be held here on December 2, the organisers said on Wednesday.
The marathon will be organised in the name of noted agriculturalist Dr B V Rao, advocate Abhay Chhajed, trustee of the Pune International Marathon Trust, was quoted as saying in a media release.
Chhajed said prizes worth Rs 30 lakh will be given to the winners and the race will be held in eight different categories, including full marathon and half marathon.
He added that the event will be aired on YouTube and those who complete the race will be awarded medals and certificates.
