Two persons have been arrested by the Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh Police from Bareilly for their alleged involvement in illicit arms trade.
Prahlad and Mallu Maurya were arrested yesterday by the STF on a tip off and 35 country-made pistols were recovered from their possession, they said.
During interrogation, both of them confessed to their involvement in illicit arms trade.
A probe is on in the matter.
