Apparently disturbed over impounding of his commercial vehicle by the police, a 35-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Musepur village here today.
Vijay Pal hanged himself from a tree in the village stadium this morning, police said.
Pal's family said that he was upset after his mini truck, by which he eked out a living, was impounded by authorities owing to non-payment of certain taxes, they said.
An investigation is on in the matter, they added.
