A 35-year-old man was found dead at his residence in Niyazupura locality here, police said today.
He was allegedly murdered by his wife and her lover after he opposed their illicit relationship, they said.
Anuman's body was recovered from a steel box at his residence yesterday following which police arrested his wife Shama.
A case has been filed against Shama and her lover Bhura, police said.
While Shama has been arrested, Bhura is absconding.
Meanwhile, police claimed to have solved a similar murder case in Sinhali village here.
A 55-year old man, identified as Yasin, was allegedly shot dead on March 4 in a nearby field.
According to police, the deceased's wife Asna and her lover Deewan Ali were found involved in the murder during investigation.
Asma later confessed to the murder, circle officer Hari Ram Yadav said.
A case has been registered against Asma and Deewan.
Asma has been arrested, he said.
