The 54,000 seats of Delhi University are fast filling up as several colleges closed admissions for most undergraduate courses under the general category in the third cut-off list announced today.

However, there was still hope for students as 25 colleges including Hindu and Lady Shri Ram College remained open for admission to B.Com (Honours) course, while seats for English honours programme was available at 18 colleges.

The drop in the cut-off, however, was not very significant. In Hindu College, where the second cut-off for B.Com (H) was 97-99.5 per cent, the third cut-off is 96.75-98.5 per cent.

Hindu and LSR have also announced cut-off for Economics (H) course, along with 10 other colleges.

While seven to eight colleges remained open for admission to History and Political Science courses, most colleges closed admissions to various B.Sc Honours courses offered.

In a relief to students keen to take admission in Journalism (H) course, the programme continues to remain available at four out of the five colleges where it is offered.

Students can take admission into colleges based on third cut-off list from tomorrow till July 10.
