As many as 4,210 complaints were received in the first Jan Manch programme held across Himachal Pradesh today, Chief Secretary Vineet Chowdhary said here today.
The programme was launched by chief minister Jai Ram here on May 26 for prompt redressal of public grievances. It was decided that the programme would be organised across the state on the first Sunday of every month.
The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the state Assembly and all Cabinet ministers presided over this programme in various parts of the state.
Almost all the complaints were settled and sent to the departments concerned for action.
