4 booked for firing at property dealer, driver

Four persons were booked today for their alleged connection in an attack on a property dealer and his driver in Loni area of the district.

50-year-old Haji Nabi was fired at near Loni railway station T-point on Saturday evening by two motorcycle-borne men while he was returning from Ghaziabad in his car alongwith three of his friends.

One bullet hit the forearm of Hazi while his driver, Idris, was hit in his head, SHO of Loni police station Gorakh Nath Yadav said.

Both were admitted to GTB hospital in Delhi.

Today police registered an FIR in the case, the SHO said adding that it was a matter of an old enmity over some property-related dispute.
 

The case was filed against Yakoob, Aarif, Sultan and one unknown person, the SHO said.
