Four police constables were today suspended for allegedly beating a man and his three friends while they were partying at his residence and threatening to frame them in a false case if they did not give money.

Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh issued suspension orders of all four police personnel after victims, residents of Khora colony, approached him, police said.

The constables who were suspended are Balbir Yadav, Narrendra Yadav, Rahish Pal and Satyendra Yadav, a senior police official said.

"As per preliminary investigation, all four accused constables were found guilty and later suspended by the SSP, who also ordered an enquiry into the matter," he said.

The victims told the SSP that they were partying when the four policemen barged into the house and accusing them of making noise, started beating them and demanded money from them, threatening to frame them in false cases if they refused.

Meanwhile, the SSP today organised a 'Janta Darbar' in Nasir Pur area of the district where he suspended sub inspector Ghanshyam Sharma after a person complained that he did not register a case of kidnapping of his son.

The SSP also asked police personnel to register a case of kidnapping of his son.
