A Delhi Police constable, with the help of some locals, today managed to nab four criminals who had assembled in Hari Nagar area of west Delhi allegedly to kill a person.
According to police, the arrested have been identified as Gurmeet Singh, Harpreet, Chandan Kumar and Gagan. Police have recovered two country-made pistols, three live cartridge, a knife and a bike from their possession.
Police said around 9.15 AM a call was received from Hari Nagar area stating that some unknown persons were firing at one Ashok Garg.

The officer said seeing the public, the accused tried to flee but their bike rammed into a car parked there.
"The accused fell and started running in different directions and two of them had weapons. Locals gathered and rushed for help. Constable Manna Ram who is posted in the Security Unit heard the noise and overpowered one of the assailants who was in possession of a country-made pistol.
"The accused put the pistol on his neck but without caring for his life, Manna Ram overpowered him and snatched his weapon. Locals also chased the two other accused namely Harpreet and Gurmeet Singh and overpowered them," he added.
He also added that Interrogations of Harpreet, Gurmeet and Chandan revealed that they had accepted a contract of Rs 50,000 from someone to attack Garg.
The motive of the shooting was to ensure that Ashok Garg received severe injurious and remained out of business for couple of months. Hence, they were given the contract for attacking him.
Police said that Gagan, who is an accomplices of the accused was later arrested.
