: Top CPI leaders like its National secretary Sudhakar Reddy, A B Bharathan and Gurudas Dasgupta will participate in the party's four day State Level conference scheduled to be held here from February 25.

Confirming this while speaking to reporters here, CPI's Tamil Nadu unit secretary D Pandian hit out at the Narendra Modi government for not 'fulfilling' its electoral promises on linking of rivers and bringing down prices of essential commodities.

Moreover, not a single rupee from the black money stashed abroad had been brought back to India, as announced by Modi in various election meetings, Pandian said.

He alleged that the Centre was appponting persons with RSS background as officials and that the organisation also gave direction on who the ministers would be, "which will be dangerous to the Nation.

Pointing out that five fishermen were sentenced to death in neighbouring Sri Lanka, Pandian said friction on the ndia-Pakistan border was also continuing, which was a 'failure' of the BJP government.

Considering this, NDA allies PMK and MDMK should walk out of the alliance, Pandian said.
