Four persons were killed and 21 others seriously injured in separate accidents in Assam's Jorhat and morigaon district since last night, police said.
A student of the Assam Agriculture University was today killed on the spot and nine others injured when the mini bus in which they were travelling collided with a truck at Jorhat Bypass on National Highway 37, police said.
The student was returning home from the University after his classes when the accident occured, it said, adding, the truck has been seized.

All the injured were admitted to Jorhat Medical College Hospital here, police added.
In Morigaon district today, a 60-yr old man was knocked down by a truck in front of the Hindustan Paper Corporation Jagiroad Paper Mill.
Police said the accident victim identified as retired HPC employee Yakub Ali was hit and killed on the spot by the Guwahati-bound truck when he was on way to the Paper Mill office.
The driver of the truck was arrested and the vehicle seized, police said.
