At least four persons today died and 50 others were taken ill after consuming spurious liquor in Malihabad area here, police said.
The incident took place in Kharta village, they said.
The persons who were taken ill have been rushed to the Trauma Centre where condition of four is stated to be critical, police said.
The deceased person could not be identified, they said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
