Four persons died and 12 others were injured when they came in contact with live wire during immersion of Durga idol in Dukhauli village here, police said today.
Shyam Bahadur (24), Vijay Kumar (17), Pawan Kumar (16) and Gappu (18) died when an iron rod on the tractor came in contact with the electricity wire yesterday, they said.
The injured were rushed to hospital, where condition of two persons was stated to be critical.
