Four persons were electrocuted when they were taking a dip into a river as a high voltage live wire snapped and fell in the water in Garwah district today.
The four died on spot as they were taking dip in river Lawanga in Jangipur village as a 11 KV live wire snapped and fell on water, Superintendent of Police Michael Raj said.
The victims have been identified as Chandru Mahto (50), Jamalu Mian (60), Mahendra Mehta (30) and Sujan Ansari (55).
