Four children died due to encephalitis today, taking the toll of those who perished of the disease to 21 in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district.
Civil Surgeon of Muzaffarpur district Gyan Prakash said while Gyan kumar (6), Nitish Kumar (5) and Saima (3) died in Kejriwal hospital another girl Najma Khatoon (4) lost her life in Shrikrishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) following spread of the disease.
The disease has spread in the district for the past some days. Some 15 patients suffering from the disease are reported to be admitted in different hospitals of the district, Prakash said.
