4 held for irregularities in purchase of medicines

Four people including two former chief medical superintendents of the district hospital here have been bookedfor alleged irregularities in purchase of medicines, police said today.

Former CMSs of district hospitalDr. Jagmohan, Dr. M L Verma along with storekeeper Perkash Chand and sales manager of a medicine company Rakesh Gupta were apprehended by the sleuths yesterday, said Vigilance Inspector Ajai Singh.

According to the officer, the arrested were found involved in supplying medicineto district hospital without permission from authorities concerned.
