Four persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a 30-year-old man for opposing the extra-marital relationship of his wife with one of the accused, the police said today.

The body of Saheb was found yesterday from a park in northwest Delhi's Bharat Nagar with multiple stab injuries.

A case was registered and investigation was on.

According to police, on the basis of the call records of Saheb's phone, one of his friend Jitender and three others, Arjun, Durgesh and Dabbu Sharma were arrested.

During questioning, it was found that Jitender was allegedly in a relationship with Saheb's wife.

Jitender told police that since he was friend with Saheb, he would often visit his home, where he saw Saheb beating up his wife.

"Jitender felt bad for Saheb's wife and became friend with her. They got into a relationship but after Saheb discovered about it, he asked Jitender to stay away from his wife," the police said.

This angered Jitender, who hatched a conspiracy to kill Saheb and roped in three of his friends.

"They called Saheb on the pretext of having liquor in the park and stabbed him multiple times and fled," he said.
