Delhi Police today claimed to have solved a blind murder case with the arrest of four persons in this connection.

The arrested have been identified as Jai Singh alias Hariom (23), Satish (22), Sanjay alias Sanju (22) and Ravi Gupta (23).

"The four had killed a cab driver, identified as Vijay Kumar (32), and took his vehicle. They then committed a series of robberies in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Kumar's body was found at Rohini Sector-26 on July 19," Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Railways) Ravindra Yadav said.

During interrogation, the four told police that they took lift from Vijay for Madhuban Chowk from Samay Pur Badli. As soon as they reached a lonely stretch, they overpowered the driver and killed him. They then dumped the body in an isolated place in Sector 26 Rohini and fled with the vehicle.

"After reaching Ghaziabad, they removed the GPS from the vehicle and went on a looting spree in UP and Bihar for a period of five days," Yadav said.
