4 held for poaching tiger in Assam forest

Four poachers were arrested today for allegedly killing a tiger in the Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park in Udalguri district of Assam, forest officials said.

After questioning the arrested poachers, forest department officials recovered the tiger's skin and bones hidden underneath the ground.

All the poachers, who were arrested from the Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park, hailed from Data Somali under Dhekiajuli police station area of Sonitpur district.
