Four persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in robbing 10 quintal steel rods and steel plates from a construction site here, police said today.
Idrish, Shahnawaz, Navinand and Pramod decamped with five quintal steel rods and five quintal plates from an under construction site in Dadri on Monday, Deputy Superintendent of Police Piyush Singh said.
The robbed material has been recovered and the tractor trolley used by them seized, he said, adding that one country made pistol was also recovered from the accused.
The incident had taken place near burial ground on Kathera road in Dadri.
The robbers had overpowered security guard Saurabh and robbed the construction material from the site where a tower was being construction, the officer added.
